I don’t want to spend a fortune, but I’m not cheap either. Does anyone know of some decent wireless systems with about 4 cameras that I can mount outside and view from either my TV, Computer, or a monitor that comes with the system? Any help is appreciated.

Have you seen these? They connect to your wireless network as soon as you are in the area and upload all your photos to the web or computer wirelessly as soon as you turn on your digital camera.

It works on regular cameras. It is 99 bucks for 2GB which without the wireless it is about half that or less. Yes, its bragging rights, like several other pieces of technology that never became practical, but it’s pretty neat anyway.

When I set up a Karaoke system in my taxi, it will be broadcast using a wireless broadband to a web site. I would like to have two cameras, one facing forward out the windshield, and the other facing the passengers. I want to be able to switch between them, so that when I have a passenger not wanting to participate, than I can still be sending out images of my forward motion. I would need a device that would continue to send the computer a signal to the computer while switching from one camera to another. Any suggestions.
These are going to be live broadcasts, no recordings.
I only have one USB port available for use. The other two are used by the GPS receiver and the external harddrive where I store the 3000+ music videos.

I have a particular application which requires me to use less than 5Mb/s for roughly 2-4 networked cameras. I need a general idea of the data rates which would be associated with a single camera using MPEG4 (as most cameras support it). If there is a particular data sheet which contains this information this would be ideal.
